Passive Voice (Bentuk Pasif) Dalam Bahasa Inggris

            Passive Voice itu ada dua yaitu Simple Present dan Simple Past Tense

A.    Simple Present

Bentuk passive ini biasanya bentuknya sedang terjadi menggunakan tense verb 1. Rumusnya Simple Present andalah

Tobe + V₃              Tobe biasanya menggunakan Is -> He, She, It           Are -> You, We, They            Am -> I

Contoh Kalimatnya

1.      The Lecturer Teaches English (Aktive)

English is taught by the lecturer (Passive)

2.      some people provide both goods and services (Aktive)

both goods and services are provide by some people

B.     Simple Past Tense

Bentuk passive ini biasanya bentuknya sudah lampau, dan menggunakan tensesnya verb  ke dua Rumus Simple Past Tense

Tobe + V₃           Tobe biasanya menggunakan Was -> He She It         Were -> You, They, We

 Contoh Kalimatnya

1.      My Mother Ate Friedrice (Aktive)

Friedrice was eaten by my mother (Passive)
